Project description
The main challenge of our project was the creation of a light-art project that could be showcased to visitors of the GLOW festival. This involved multiple rounds of prototyping with innovative technologies and user interaction tests while taking the festival’s theme into consideration..
Context
GLOW is a light art festival held yearly in Eindhoven. The goal of this festival is to bring people together with light, which is a strong tool in the darkness.
Results
The results of our project so far are a concept involving 5 pillars. Visitors will have to interact with these pillars by touching them and thus giving them life. When these pillars are touched they are given life and will shine bright! Not only do they shine bright, they also make music. This music comes together with all of these pillars each having their own sounds.
The goal of this concept is to allow visitors to find this out and work together to create a symphony.
