Project description
The design challenge is to find a better way to gather data from healthcare workers in hospitals and clinics without taking more of their time.
Context
A survey is a drag to fill out, especially when you're a healthcare worker with stressful duties. To relieve them of this task, we were given the opportunity to create an alternative, interactive solution that requires less time.
Results
We started off with investigating the situation and analyzing the target audience. After establishing this, we brainstormed ideas and started testing and developing. The concept is constantly being iterated based on feedback.
We have two end products which are:
- A digital art expression wall that updates based on people's input
- A mascot that requires input and gives users a feedback (similar to a Tamagotchi)
We believe our concept is in the sixth stage of the Technology Readiness level.
About the project group
We're all ICT Media Design students and the four of us worked on this project from February until June. We worked methodologically towards a solution, namely with the Double Diamond. By gathering information, analyzing these, and creating and iterating on solutions, we believe in achieving results that will satisfy the stakeholders.
