Project description

This projects in building a solution that would provide a collaborative community where Fontys business employees and future community members (teachers & students) could share knowledge and help each other regarding Microsoft Power Platform.

Context

This project is a part of the Fontys Power Transition Program, initiated by Fontys IT Department's Generic Application Services team. Their goal is to establish widespread power platform usage across Fontys, migrate existing applications to the platform, and ensure proficiency among users. Currently in its second phase, departments are already utilizing the platform for low-code application creation, although some employees face challenges due to insufficient Power Platform knowledge.

Results

An online Power Platform community for Fontys is able to be built through validated user requirements and appropriate tools which was SharePoint Page and Microsoft Teams while also applying relevant research methodologies such as best practices and requirement analysis to generate tailored made contents that accommodates the needs of the client and end user. In addition, a business advice is created based on analysis on the organization which will help fit the solution within the organization and help creating a future proof solution were the focus is on how to expand the community users.
