Project description
With our platform https://cia-ctf.com you can freely play our game to teach you about Open-source intelligence (OSINT) and how hackers can use OSINT to gain sensitive information about people and companies in order to attack them. Go ahead, sign up and start playing this Capture the Flag (CTF) game. All necessary info to play can be found on our website. Can you get all flags?
Context
This project will be used for FHICT ICS students to teach about the dangers and opportunities of OSINT and may be extended to Dutch governmental employees in the future.
Results
We have set up a stable platform where people can play OSINT CTF challenges with difficulties as requested by the client. The client is very satisfied with our product and it will be used in the future to teach ICS students about OSINT as part of the learning portfolio.
Methodology
Using Scrum sprints we proposed our ideas and vision of the project to the client creating OSINT CTF challenges during the semester. We also wanted a stable, fast, maintainable and secure platform from which the platform is hosted. We researched and implemented tools to make sure the non-functional requirements are correctly implemented and we demonstrated this to the client to make sure it fit his needs.
About the project group
We are 4 Fontys ICT & Cyber Security Minor students interested in red teaming, hacking and breaking things and we love to teach people about the dangers and opportunities of threats in the cyber domain.
