Research, Design and Build a Creator dApp PoC for Flow Streaming. Creators must be able to manage their IP, Content and Profit

Please note that we are a part of a big Flow project, together with the group working on the "Flow - The first decentralised video streaming platform" project. So, we would like to kindly ask you to put our groups next to each other during the demo

Context

Flow Streaming is an OPEN Project for Citric Labs with the aim of creating a trustless solution to video streaming for indie content with the Creator in mind. Flow aims to provide decentralised access to independent filmmaking with a transparent profit model ensuring that creators are fairly rewarded

Results

The main results of our work include: KYC research & integration, Explicit Database research, Video Metadata research, Microservice based Software Architecture design, Payment functionality, User-Friendly website design and Functional prototype

About the project group

We are the group of three enthusiastic Fontys students with software engineering background. We worked on the Flow Creator project for the whole semester and manage to dedicate around 800h to it all together. We decided to approach the project in an Agile way utilising the Scrum framework with 3 week long sprints. Keeping things organised by maintaining stable communication and conducting standups twice a week, played the main role in exceeding everyone's expectations and delivering a product far beyond an agreed MVP
