Project description
How to realize an infrastructure solution for the Noise Control project which accommodates all the requirements?
Context
The project’s purpose is to gain more insight into the noise exposure of PE teachers during their work and its effects on their hearing and well-being. These insights are then translated into educational material and the development of advice on the optimal acoustic parameters of a sports facility and the design of the sports facility to achieve this. With this information, the project hopes to contribute to the prevention of hearing damage and thus keeping subject teachers of physical education more permanently employable.
Our team is responsible for delivering the infrastructure needed for this solution.
Results
Fontys FHICT will focus on the development of a possible tool/service that, in combination with stress data from the teacher, can provide insight into the noise level of the PE-teacher. Ultimately, insights can be processed together into an interactive prototype that provides insight towards the subject teacher in physical education.
In the case of this specific project, we are tasked with preparing the infrastructure for the prototype that is talked about earlier. We will need to weed out the requirements of this prototype and design a proof-of-concept infrastructure around it. A PoC, transfer document, research report and a list of advice will need to be created.
