Project description
Design a multiplayer game for a mobile platform to enable players from around 20 to 30 years old that sit inside on their own with confidence issues and social anxiety to get to know each other and get outside in/with more confidence and learn to work together with others
Context
The project is a game for a mobile platform being made by our client, Tweekracht. With their mobile platform they want to encourage people to get together and socialize through use of an online map, where they can make events to meet up with each other.
Results
We have created a minimal viable product which is able to be expanded into a full game. The game is a card game and focuses on Tweekracht's company values; that every person has two out of four main strengths. We have taken those strengths and converted them to different elements. Using the cards, you have to work together to defeat enemies, people who have given into negative emotions. Each player is assigned a role, which is integral to defeat the enemies. The Scout can reveal the enemy's stats, the Attacker can play cards that affect the enemy and the Defender can play cards that affect yourself. In this way the players must communicate to defeat a common enemy.
