Project description

How could a chatbot with AI technology be used to raise awareness among residents in Eindhoven about the impact of air pollution on their life and give them suggestions to improve their health?  

Context

Air Quality is a rising concern in these times. With the increase in pollution levels, there has been a significant impact on human health and the environment. As a result, there is a growing demand for solutions that can monitor and improve air quality. To be more specific, the quality of air in Eindhoven is poor.  As a team, it is important to have people become aware of the pollution in the air. This will be done by using the dataset provided by AiREAS and to come up with an appropriate project. 

Results

After deep analysis of the problem and possible solutions, we have come up with a chatbot. It utilises the recently popular ChatGPT to answer questions, while giving it a personality, limiting the topics it can talk about and using Llamaindex to provide it additional context as well as other useful features were added to a mobile app such as live weather and air quality data and recommendations.
