Project description
This projects main goal was to make an automated test environment for the charging and discharging of a battery.
Context
In lab environments, there is the need of remote monitoring of battery tests that take place over a long period of time without the necessity of human supervision.
This remote monitoring allows for more complex tests, and for a better summarization and visualization of these test results.
Results
A combination of remote connections with physical machines and a central application communicating with a first version of a user interface. As well as a physical setup for connecting the battery to the machines, in the form of relay connections which are also controlled by the central application.
As well as the relays, safety measures include a temperature sensor.
About the project group
The project group consists of 4 technology students, and 1 software student.
This project takes place in the Minor Signals and Embedded Systems.
