Project description
The main question we wanted to answer is, "Is it possible for multiple disabled children (aged 12 to 20) to use a Virtual Reality headset?". For this, we did research and made a small VR application.
Context
A previous team member was approached by the organization Visio. Their goal is to improve the quality of life for people with disabilities. Visio allows their schools to experiment with new technologies, hardware, and software for their schools.
Results
Virtual Reality is well suited for multiple disabled children if you know how to approach it. It's important to approach the application from an audio and haptics perspective, instead of a visual perspective.
About the project group
A small group of Delta students from semesters 3 to 7.
