Project description
After a previous cancellation of a prescribed Fontys Partner project due to legal reasons, we were free to create our own path through the minor. We decided to take hold of the minors spirit and create our own open learning environment. We created 4 sprints which each held true to a data driven subject such as data visualisation, data engineering, ETL pipelines, Forecasting, machine learning, AI, Python and Power BI. While doing so, we send out an open invitation to our fellow students and ended each sprint on a workshop.
Context
Our domain is divided across data engineering, data science, applied data science and business intelligence. In essence we were free to reach multiple domains by choice.
Results
Both sprint 1 and two yielded valuable sprint reports on the topics of pipeline engineering, forecasting, linear regression, random forest and decision three regression. More that that it provided a valuable learning experience.
About the project group
We are four different students with mixed educational backgrounds. Hailing from cybersecurity, data, IT & business, business administration and leisure & event management. Furthermore, we vary vastly in age and professional experience. Being one the more diverse groups we were able to edge that into our results.
