Create a scan that can be filled in by people in leadership roles. So that they can assess themselves, on a couple of leadership skills.
Context
The members of Lectoraat Dynamische Talentinterventies have conducted specialized thorough research on leadership behavior and style. Their team collects data to find more insights into the leaders` roles so that they can help the managers perform better. The development of talent policy is mostly a part of the HR department`s work. However, the development of employees, mobilizing talent, and creating a talent oriented work climate, aside from many other HR tasks, is often executed by a manager. Leadership relation to talent mobilization has long been an underexposed theme in research. The talent-oriented leadership scan was originally developed to gain more insight into the role of the manager in talent mobilization. This research has shown that talent-oriented leadership, a combination of supportive and empowering leadership, later also called the coach and architect role respectively, has a positive relationship with talent mobilization.
