Project description
The project is part of a larger project for the Streaming Wearables and Stress Measurements Platform (SWSP) project. Our project focused on improving and adding features to the exisiting software platform for the SWSP project. The goal of our project was to create an online platform which can be used to procress streaming data from different wearables.
Context
The domain of the project is Healthcare. The context of the project is indicating patient's stress levels to their health care providers. Stress related complaints have a major impact on people's health. Stress measurements (from wearables) can be used as an early warning and/or support for stress interventions.
Results
The most important results were the improvement of code quality and documentation of code. The initial project had been created by three groups of students and needed some work to become a more cohesive project. The project can now be handed over to the next person or group which can start working on it with ease. The codebase is now well tested and the developer experience greatly improved.
About the project group
Our group consists of 4 FHICT semester 6 students. The time spent on this project has been about 6 months, 2.5 days a week was dedicated to the group project. We worked using the SCRUM methodology, which means we had sprints of 3 weeks each whereafter we would deliver the planned features. Weekly meetings were held to keep the stakeholders up to date.
