Project description
Building Attention project aims to enhance the quality of life in the building through Technology and Gamification for all people in Strijp TQ. Through the concept of ‘Quest and Event Board’, Building Attention hopes to create a more interactive social environment in TQ where people can seek and provide help to those who need it and will be rewarded once the ‘hunt’ is finished.
Context
The InnovationLab has been working alongside the Game Design and Technology teachers to design an installation on this, or another floor, that brings people together. This installation aims to improve the quality of life of opt’d in members, and students by providing information of building layout, utility locations, and expertise of members. There currently exists an app that one can log in to.
Results
The final product is a system consisting of two pieces of software. One local to TQ, and the other as a phone application for opt'd in members. These applications will be inter-connected with the goal of improved communication and cooperation.
The project includes a 3D map of TQ, a leaderboard, and VR Guidance.
