Project description
Flooid is a start-up company based in the Benelux with co-working offices in Antwerp, Eindhoven and Alkmaar, and Partner In Innovation of Fontys. Flooid's value proposition is a model for community-based learning and innovation, supported by a networking platform that brings together organizations, people and projects. This platform is in essence a knowledge graph where various “knowledge hubs” such as Breda Universities of Applied Sciences, Delft University of Technology, MindLabs, Fontys will be able to discover information via a web interface powered by AI (in particular, Natural Language Processing). This idea originated and is being developed as part of the “Digital Realities” (DigiReal) research project.
Context
Flooid is one of the most important players in the world of commerce platforms, aiming to enable an impressive spectrum of possibilities for their customers. Their vision strongly relies on improving customer engagement and sales rate through creating a unique and personalized journey “at every touch”. Although the company is based in Benelux, its presence is currently felt in various cities such as Antwerp, Eindhoven, or Alkmaar.
Results
Our most important feature is the knowledge hub graph, which allows users to search for and discover new links about topics they are interested in. Moreover, users have the ability to contribute to this knowledge graph by submitting data which in turn has to be approved by someone with the permission to do so.
