Liqo Investigation

Project description

“How viable is Liqo, in a production ready transparent multi-cluster and multi-cloud experience, keeping in mind performance, maturity and maintainability.”

Context

For this project, a group of third year students from the infrastructure study at Fontys University of Applied Sciences in Eindhoven was put together to look for a solution for this project presented in the study program. The team consists of five members (Ibrahim, Nam, Merijn) and classmates of the same study program at Fontys.  

In this project, the stakeholder working with the team is SUE, a cloud-native solution provider working on improving and adapting infrastructure solutions using the cloud and on-premises solutions.  

Results

These findings lead to the team concluding that the Liqo application does in fact has potential in regards of the use case of the stakeholder. But on the other side having the logical errors present could mean a potential error at the current level of usability, and compromising the remaining of the service abilities as well.
