Project description
How can we merge all the components of the monitoring robot and make it wirelessly controllable?
Context
The robot is made for large industrial companies that can let the robot monitor their facilities by driving around and monitoring for sound defects (such as leaking pipes etc.). The robot will then alert the staff that there is a defect.
Results
The robot consists of a Sound camera, A robotic vehicle (called Rover) and a HERE tracker. These products had to work together and needed to all be powered from the robot. Our product delivery will let the robot drive, stop at certain defined points. Scan for any defects with the sound camera and update the dashboard with defects.
About the project group
We are a group of ICT Technology students and most of us have followed a cyber security specialisation. We have worked for one semester on this project. We have worked with scrum and different customers to improve the monitoring robot.
