Project description
The challenge of this project was to improve the virtual teaching interface. With all lessons being online due to Corona, more problems arise when teaching on Zoom/Teams. In this challenge, we aimed to make lessons more interesting for students and teachers.
The project is divided in two concepts. One concept aims to create insight in students understanding of the material using polls. The other concept aims to improve brainstorming online.
Context
The project context is edTech. The target group for the challenge is everyone involved with Fontys online teaching, in this case teachers and students.
Results
With all lessons being online, teachers found that they do not have insight in the student's progress and understanding of the material. Students on the other hand want more interaction during the lesson.
From interviews, it appeared that teachers would like to have the ability to brainstorm like in a physical lesson. There are multiple brainstorm methods that can be conducted in real life situations, and might also work in an online environment with brainstorm functionality.
