Project description
Goal:
The objective of this project is to deliver a dashboard within six months that uses both location data of visitors and open data to support the area manager of the Genneper Parks in making strategic choices in the field of vitality.
Research question:
How can a strategic dashboard help the area manager to make strategic choices in the field of vitality within the Genneper Parks?
Context
Currently, there is data available about the Genneper Parks, but these are not or barely (coherently) looked at. As a result, the area cannot develop optimally. The area manager of the Genneper Parks would like to improve this in order to be able to improve the area optimally in the future and to increase the vitality of the park.
Results
Our project is based on TR level 3 and 4. Below you can find the main insights of the project:
Based on the research carried out, the project group has drawn up various recommendations for the municipality of Eindhoven. These are the following prioritised recommendations:
1. Linking of the various data sets.
1. Determine what the goals for the meters are.
2. Consult with government, police and own data departments to make the data specific enough for the Genneper Parks.
2. Making the areas on the map 'clickable'.
3. Converting .CSV files to .XLSX files.
