How can a secure data environment with a data connection to a dashboard be established to gain visual insights into the recruitment process of potential students at international events for Fontys ICT's marketing and communications department?
Context
Fontys-ICT has a marketing and communications department that is dedicated to International Student Recruitment. The marketing and communications department attends international events, in which they encourage interested students to complete a survey with the goal of converting them into enrolled students.
The objective of the project is to develop a solution for the marketing department of Fontys ICT International. Currently, when Fontys representative visit countries for school events, they gather personal data from potential students. The issue lies in the fact that the collected data vanishes within the CRM system, and there is a lack of subsequent communication with potential students.
Now lead lists are being collected manually and in different formats per Fontys representative. There are different lead lists, and there is no convenient way to store the data. It takes a lot of time to manage the lead lists. Also, lead data is not visualized. Insights about the data are limited.
Results
We created a survey application that is connected to a secure database where Fontys representatives can input their data from events. This database is then linked to a dashboard with visualisations about the student recruitment process. Ideally these insights will help to better follow-up international student leads in the future.
