Project description

Our main goal is to investigate possible system architectures which would make the software more scalable and maintainable. Plus, improving the overall user experience of the application.

Context

The Teamium start-up company is working on a concept where the goal is to enhance how people work together in groups (team dynamics).

The company has developed an MVP, which can be tested and used for validation. But, the architecture of the system is an orchestration, which lacks the necessary scalability and robustness to efficiently handle a high volume of requests.

Given the context of the tool, the present version faces limitations in terms of data handling capacity and lacks the support of services expansion.

Results

- Our team has improved the User Interface of the product;
- We have designed a distributed system architecture, which is addressing the current development problems. And have implemented the base functionalities.
- We have developed a migration strategy and laid down the foundation of the new system;
