Project description
The semester goal for this project is to "Successfully launch the SimplePark app and website, establishing a solid foundation for user acquisition, engagement, and feedback collection."
With a main challenge of researching and designing a user friendly platform offering a variety of parking options.
Context
SimplePark is a platform offering parking services for user's who want to rent- or led their (private) parking space for an hourly rate. With a goal to simplify and enhance the parking experience by connecting parking space owners with drivers looking for convenient and affordable parking options. The platform has a wide range of available area's for parking, and offers additional options like EV charging.
Results
The most important outcomes are a fully developed mobile application, taking into account multiple versions of UX/UI design, reasearch into strategies and competetors, and innovative ideas to offer user's a seamless experience when using the application. The first beta version of the mobile application is plannen to launch on the 28th of June 2024, and an informational web application is already available. This would put the project in level 7 of the technology readiness level (TRL).
