Energy Game Companion
Project description
Design a hybrid cardgame to enable adults who lack energy to learn about themselves to improve energy.
Context
The product is intended to help people lacking energy to gain more energy in their daily lives. Supported by psychological research. Domain: Selfhelp / Healthcare.
Results
The end product will be a Tamagotchi-like virtual pet game that guides the player through the original cardgame. We intend to offer the ability to grant users long-term support in the form of a virtual pet post-cardgame.
The virtual pet will require care by the player, and in turn the virtual pet will care for the player by reminding them and rewarding activities that give the player energy (as confirmed by the card game).
Hopefully this way players' energy improves more consistently after playing the card game.
About the project group
We're students from HAVO, Highschool abroad and MBO Level 4. We're working using SCRUM and by the end of the project we will have spent 7 weeks on it total.
